Having to Deal with a Paranoid Schizophrenia Patient
Some people have a family member that is suffering from paranoid schizophrenia and talks about suicide. Or maybe you have a friend that suffers from it and is telling you that he wants to hurt people for unknown reasons. There is also the possibility that the family member has stopped eating, drinking or taking baths and you see them talking to people that only they can see or hear.
These situations require intervention. Even the law makes it your responsibility if you are aware of the circumstances when you have to take matters into your own hand and try to get help for these people. Nobody wants to be the one having to take a loved one to the hospital for treatment, even thou it is against one’s will. If you think that another option for you is to just sit back and watch, then you will be liable under the law and makes you guilty because you had knowledge of the situation and did nothing.
